SPROUTS PROGRAM

Now Accepting Applications for 3, 4 and 5 Year Old Preschoolers in Robbinsville and Nearby Communities.

The Robbinsville Public School District is proud to offer the community a 5 day (2.5 hours),  collaborative preschool program, serving 3, 4 and 5 year old children.  Note:  Students must be 3 years old by Oct. 1, 2018, and be fully potty-trained*.  Students may enroll throughout year provided there are openings in the program. SPROUTS is a developmentally oriented program based on the New Jersey Core Curriculum Content Standards for preschool.  The class will consist of typically developing children and children with developmental challenges, learning together in a structured and enriched environment.

The SPROUTS program incorporates activities into the instructional time based on children’s individual learning styles.  Our goal is to provide an enhanced preschool environment that meets the social, emotional, physical, language and cognitive needs of all of the students.  The program is staffed with certified preschool and special education teachers as well as paraprofessionals as needed.

The SPROUTS program structure is similar to a typical preschool experience, as the teaching of developmentally appropriate skill areas is embedded throughout the school day.

The program meets five days/week for two and half hours per day.  The program is located at Sharon Elementary School, located at 234 Sharon Road in Robbinsville and follows the Sharon School calendar.   Three year olds  meet from 9:30 AM to 12:00 PM and four year olds meet  from 1:00 to 3:30 PM.  The cost of the program is $3500 per school year and is divided into 10 monthly installments.  Transportation is not included for typically developing students.  Parents must provide copies of current physical examination and immunization records along with registration.  Please include a non-refundable deposit of $100.00 with your application to secure your membership.   Details about tuition payment will be mailed along with acceptance to the program.

To apply for the SPROUTS program, complete an application form (see below).  Enrollment will be based on a first-come-first serve basis.  I understand that in the event of an oversubscription of this program, I will be notified and my name will be placed on a waiting list.

Applications can be found online and in the offices of each of the district’s schools.
