What teacher had the biggest influence on you as a student & why?: Ms. Byers was my Fashion Figure Drawing teacher. She had an eclectic sense of style not only in how she dressed by how she viewed life.  She always had a positive spirit and excellent sense of self. She treated students with mutual respect yet always expected the very best from them. Because of this, we gave our "best" everyday. 

Favorite book: “The Girl on a Train” by Paula Hawkins 

Hobbies: Movies, family time, running 

Favorite color: Purple

Favorite meal: Anything Mexican

Favorite music: Christmas music

Favorite sports teams: Philadelphia Eagles

Three for dinner: Justin Timberlake... so I can ask his hand in marriage (who cares that we are both already married!)

Michelle Obama...a just to have a woman-to-woman conversation

My grandmother(deceased) thank her for giving me an awesome Mom and to get one more hug from her.

Proudest moment on the job: Coming together as co-workers to help a friend in need. 

Fondest memory on the job: Seeing my first group of students in 9th grade graduate four years later. 

What is your hidden talent?: Dancing. 

What inspires you?: Seeing the greatness of my co-workers. 

If you could pass on your wisdom regarding your job, what would you share?: DO NOT take it home with you

How do you make connections with students?: Mutual respect, learning their lives and sharing mine. 

Is there a quote or saying you live your life by?: External positivity is fueled by internal beauty and vice versa.”

What makes a good day at school?: Checking off all the boxes on the "to do" list.
